I have a Vident iAuto702 Pro obd2 scanner and was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. Today I used it done VW oil service reset.
iAuto702 outlook is good made:
Vident iAuto702 unit is reasonably well constructed and should survive the odd knock or two. The screen is clear and the keyboard firm and positive to use. With rubber sleeve, I think it will make iAuto 702 Pro avoid impact and damage in the tough workshop environment. As the keyboard is not of the membrane type then I guess one should keep liquids/fluid away from it.
The OBD2 cable is of adequate length and well finished with molded strain reliefs at both ends.
Quick “How to” guide:
Choose “OilReset V15.21” by pressing the up & down, left & right buttons.
Loading data, please wait.
Carefully rad the tips of service lamp reset. Press “OK” to enter.
Press “Right” button to choose “VW“.
Choose “software reset“, then “Automatic Scan“.

As you saw above, Vident iAuto 702 pro has other commonly-used service reset functions such as abs, srs diagnosis, oil light service/reset, epb, brt(battery configuration), dpf, tba/tps, injector coding, tpms, sas, immobilizer programming, gear learning, abs bleed, gearbox match, suspension match, sunroof initialization, afs, adjusted fuel, odometer calibration etc.
I haven’t test them, when I have more cars to test, I’d like to share with you the test reports.
What a nice feature is Vident iAuto702 language is free to switch (10 language in total), if one day a friend borrows it from me (I have several foreigner friends), it will be very convenient instead of troubling the dealer to reset language.
Alright, I highly recommend VIDENT iAuto 702Pro for its cheap price, what it can do and nice multi-languages.
