Does Vident iAuto702 Pro Service Tool Support Korean?

I have the Korean language atcivated in my vident iauto702 pro scanner. But some function are missing or not working properly. When i change to English, all function are normal.

How can i solve it?

Symptom:

We were stuck in lots of stop start traffic took 6 hours to drive 40ish miles and the engine management light came on and gearbox stopped changing gear.

The unhelpful breakdown man plugged in the car and told me I’ve been racing as its logged a p1745 code which he googled and declared was excessive changes between 2nd and 3rd gear, reset the code and declared the car fixed, but it didn’t fix it so towed us home.
I’ve plugged it in myself using a delphi clone and came up with the same code p1745 which is in fact VLP in open loop or over pressure for 2000 miles or 1000 gear changes between 2nd and 3rd, I’ve checked the vlp solenoid for open loop and pressure sensor for faults, all I can find is the actual pressure is around 20 – 30 psi higher the target psi on the gearbox hydraulic line.
I’ve changed the gearbox oil and filter with the correct oil but cannot clear the VLP error counter in the TCM without some serious diagnostics equipment.

Tried disconnecting the battery left off for 2 hours, also clamped the positive and negative leads together for an hour. Still nothing.

Suggestion:

Sort and lagacy. The code is registered twice in the BCM. 04-07 ‘U’ codes never went wild few top0the range diagnostic scanners have them. The 508 & x431 of 05-07 did.

Finally!

I’ve located the same tool it’s a Vident ilink400 Chrysler scanner, but the vident side also states you can add up to 5 makes per scanner for $60 per make.

Took longer than 3 days to arrive, but worth it.
Plugged in found my car via vin number, reset the vlp counter and output tooth count no problems, then put gearbox into quick learning mode.
In all it does what is expected for a very reasonable price.

Would love to be able to afford a x431 pro v as I know how much it can do. But as I no longer work on anything but my own cars I cannot justify the outlay cost.

This tool is Chrysler group specific and looks like it can do lots of special functions only found in more expensive equipment.

I highly recommend the Vident ilink400.

Vident iLink450 Failed to Update Software Solution

Problem:

I have successfully downloaded several car software for vident ilink450 scanner. But it failed me when update Volvo and ABS Bleeding software. Any idea?

Solution:

Reinstall vident update tool iScanzilla.

Or open Update folder in iScanzilla update tool. Delete all files in the Update folder. Download Volvo & ABS Bleed software again.

Diagnose 04 RAM 1500 Headlamp Assy Lamp Out with Vident

Car model and year: 04 Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab

Symptom and what I did:

Installed new headlamp assy on right and left. Truck cranked and headlamps or just parking lights on, no alarm or lamp out light. When you turn on the signals or hazards then the alarm comes on and the lamp out light is blinking. If you touch the brake the alarms go off and the lamp out blinking stops. No problems at all if you dont turn on the headlamps. I just cant have headlamps and signals unless I touch the brake. I have replaced both headlamp assy’s, both taillight connector boards, and all external lamps to include the CHMSL. Tag lamps also. No led’s.

Advice:

I would beg/borrow a scanner that will check codes that a normal cheap scanner will not. I am betting you have FCM/BCM codes that will require a more expensive scanner to see.

Start looking at Fuse box (IPM) connections that plug into the bottom of it and the FCM/BCM that is bolted to it and has a large rectangle connection.

Search Google for pictures of Dodge Ram FCM, BCM, and IPM to see picture of them so you know what modules to look for.

I have a super chips programmer and it will not see all the codes that my Vident iLink400 will. It was inexpensive at $135.00 bucks and does some dealer level tests like TCM quick learn and other stuff.

Finally!!!

Ordered new mopar front signal sockets and installed. Because I had thrown the old ones away. Cured all the lamp out issues.
